Travis Heights XS Garage Apartment
The Travis Heights XS Garage apartment is only 12’ wide. The unit is about 200 s.f. We designed it to be as efficient as possible making use of a single plumbing wall bedroom space with built in closets and desk. The apartment is attached to the main house, but is set back, so the final rendering shows the large viewing deck, creating privacy for the tenants of the garage apartment.

The project is currently under construction.
1200 sf Accessible ADU
he Thompson ADU was designed to be double duty. Our client needed a handicapped accessible downstairs, with a separated multi use upstairs.

The apartment upstairs design is compact for flexibility of uses.
The Thompson ADU was designed to be double duty. Our client needed a handicapped accessible downstairs, with a separated multi use upstairs. The entire square footage of the home is 1,200, the allowed size in Austin. The compact design allows room for all functionality but with a good size and feel of the spaces.
This home is currently unbuilt.
South Lamar Renovation
The South Lamar Home Renovation was a project that needed to consider the existing ranch house along with the discreet use of the interior spaces.
The South Lamar Home Renovation was a project that needed to consider the existing ranch house along with the discreet use of the interior spaces. The couple, an art collector and commercial real estate agent wanted their home to stay modest in size , but adding skylights, changing the kitchen layout and two bathrooms. Considering the main entry as a discreet space, the garage as a space for laundry and beer brewing, and a flow between the living/dining and the outside. As with many of our clients, they choose their own finishes, we do the design.
This renovation was completed in 2019.
